Description
BeBe was our teacup poodle. A friend wanted to trade one of her puppies for one of my paintings. That was a good trade! She was so small that she looked like a furry house shoe when she laid down on the floor. I made sure to pick her up and keep her in a safe place if others were around. She walked under my wheelchair. When I backed up, she walked backwards. When I went forward, she would walk forward. When I turned, she’d turn too. I bet a video of that would’ve made it on “America’s Funniest Videos” ! She used a ‘cat carrier’ for her dog house. I loved to see her run. She looked like a black fur ball on legs, flying around. She made us laugh.
I drew her white to match a set of four 9″ X 12″ prints (the second image in the series), but she was as black as coal.
